⚙️ Technical Preview & Development Status

This instance is running as a pre-release technical preview. Below is the checklist of fully integrated modules vs. mock sandbox systems currently being upgraded:

🟢 Fully Functional (Testing Ready)

  • Database Installer: Run `install.php` to configure credentials, generate schemas, and seed test data.
  • Visual Customizations: Font scaling, Dyslexic layouts, and High Contrast Dark/Light themes via local storage persistence.
  • MCQ Stepper Quizzes: Complete quiz manager, question builders, and score calculation engine.
  • Assignments & Grading: File upload validators (PDF, ZIP, Word) and admin grading desk (score + comments).
  • Manual & Self-Enrollment: Configurable course visibility catalog and student enroll options.

🟡 Sandbox Mockups & In-Progress

  • Google OAuth: Running in Sandbox Simulation Mode. Real Client Key authentication must be configured in `config/db.php` on production.
  • External Screen Reader: Native TTS speech synthesizers are disabled to prevent audio overlapping with NVDA/JAWS/TalkBack screen readers.
  • Payment Gateways: Course catalog self-enrollments are currently free. Stripe/PayPal payment integrations are in active development.
  • Inline Viewer: Admin grading desk currently requires downloading submission files to review contents locally.
